There are three branches of government.
1. Executive Branch
The Executive Branch carries out laws. This branch consists of the President, the Vice President, and the Cabinet.
2. Legislative Branch
The Legislative Branch makes the laws. This branch includes the Senate and the House of Representatives.
3. Judicial Branch
The Judicial Branch evaluates the laws. This branch consists of the Supreme Court and other federal courts.
